What is Green Lunch?
First Wednesday of each Month

The first Wednesday of every month there is the opportunity to come network with other businesses who are striving toward sustainability goals.  We meet at 12:00pm at a location to be announced on website each month, take time to visit/network, then around 12:30pm we have a guest speaker who provides educational information relating to something within our community, business, and environment for approximately 15 minutes.   No RSVP is necessary (always check location via our website to ensure it hasn't changed) and lunch generally adjourns about 1:00pm.  This is a GREAT way to get to meet new people, learn something new, and eat your lunch!!

The Green Lunch programs are a great networking and educational opportunity which are provided for by MGSSBF membership dues.  No fee for members.

Non-members are always welcome to attend, with a small fee of $5.00 that can be paid on-line click here or paid at the event in cash or check (we are unable to accept credit cards at the event).  All attendees order from the menu and pay for your order with cash or credit card separately.

What is Green Drinks?
Third Wednesday of Each Month 5:00pm

The answer to the most popular question we get on the Green Drinks event is do we have to drink "green" drinks?  The answer is 'no, unless you want to!'  MGSSBF supports Sunset Coast Green Drinks, however, Green Drinks was originated in Germany, see greendrinks.org  and  St. Joseph/Benton Harbor is an approved chapter among chapters all over the world!   The general pattern of Green Drinks is that it is mostly for people working on environmental issues, but anyone can come.  The group always welcomes newcomers, and encourages you to meet new people.  There is no agenda or RSVP's, just much provoked good conversation and sharing insights and having those "OH" moments when you learn something you didn't know.  The location varies each month so refer to our website monthly...Green Drinks goes on until the great conversation ends...usually until 7:30pm (however, we do have 11:30pm as our record so far!).  Come Join Us!!
